Luca Bösch (he/him) is Product Owner Digital Tools at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), working across Bern and Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. He works in educational technology, combining product ownership, software development, and DevOps practices. While responsible for the strategic development of digital tools, he remains hands-on and continues to write code himself.
Luca began developing in the Moodle ecosystem around 2012, and his first contributions to the open-source learning management system date back more than ten years. Since then, he has contributed to Moodle in a variety of areas and is currently ranked 38th among Moodle contributors worldwide.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Digital Business Administration as well as a Certificate in Higher Education Didactics. Luca is passionate about Free and Open Source Software, automated testing, test-driven development, and software quality.
